CD/DVD circulation policy

October 14, 2009

We have had a slight change to the CD circulation policy in the Howard Music Library, and I want to make sure you are all aware of it.

Previously, CDs (and DVDs) that belong to the music library were considered “non-circulating” for undergraduates, meaning they were only to be used in house for 2 hours.

I’ve decided to change this policy. When a student checks out a CD or DVD (keep in mind this applies to only DVDs that belong to the Music Library, not the items that belong to the IMRC), the system will let you keep the item until closing that day. As long as you bring the item beack by the time it is due, you may take it out of the library.

Graduate students and faculty check out periods remain unchanged.

Please contact me with any questions or comments…

- If it has to do with music, or libraries, I will try to cover it here. Please let me know if you have any other ideas!

Also, note that I have updated my hours and contact info for the Fall semester. I want you to *always* be able to find a music librarian when you need one!
